It's been a year since many of the businesses first opened in the River Hills Plaza and now the shopping center is a popular destination for residents to take care of a whole list of errands. Whether it's for a bite to eat, a bit of pampering or to pick up a gift, the River Hills Plaza offers a variety of different businesses to suit families' needs.
If you are looking for a little pampering, at the Skin & Laser Medical Center (684-9600), Dr. Dyan Dent offers botox, laser hair removal, chemical peels, oxygen facials and more. Visit Massages for Health (www.massagesforhealth.com) for a relaxing hot stone therapy massage and then head over to Rumors Salon for a variety of hair, skin and nail services. Appointments are recommended. Massages for Health can be reached at 643-8266 and the phone number for Rumor's Salon is 655-6404.
Olivia's Closet (655-3727) is the perfect place to pick up a gift for a friend. In addition to the large selection of children's consignment items, the store also offers jewelry, handbags, picture frames and home décor items. Edible Arrangements, scheduled to open in March, offers fruit bouquets and also is a great place to pick up a gift basket. Call 571-7200 or visit www.ediblearrangements.com
The plaza also offers the opportunity to get a quote on insurance at C & G Insurance (655-5311), take the children to the doctor at Kids First Pediatrics (246-KIDS) and peruse for some new carpet or hardwood flooring at the newly opened Flooring America (549-2518).
After all of that, it is likely you've worked up an appetite and that is where Trio's Pizza (856-0288) and Igloo Ices (571-2052) can help satisfy your cravings. Plan ahead and stop by Now We're Cookin' (www.cookininbrandon.com or 684-FOOD) to set up a class for you and some friends or neighbors and have dinner ready all week.
Other businesses in the plaza include Top to Bottom Women's Fitness (657-5710), Viper Capital Management, Railroad & Industrial Credit Union (www.rifcu.org), RSVP Tampa Bay, Healing Light Acupuncture (see Eye on Business), Hogan's Permit and Property Evaluation (741-9866), Cochise Consultancy, Dry Wizard (228-8384).
The plaza also is home to QuikDrop International (413-8555 or www.quikdrop.com), a store that offers a convenient way for people to sell items on eBay without the time consuming hassle, Martinizing Dry Cleaners (655-9255) and the Tutoring Club (681-9900).
Only one space at 1,226 sq. ft. remains available in the shopping center in front of the River Hills subdivision. It features four suites, a reception area, break room, bathroom, closet, alarm monitoring and two CAT-5 lines.
