Bloomingdale Special Taxing District

Bloomingdale Special Taxing District meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Community Office on Bell Shoals at 3509 Bell Shoals Rd. All meetings are open to the public. Information: 684-6667, or BSTD@bloomingdalegazette.com.

 

FishHawk Area Networking Group Meeting

FANG will meet Thursday, November 9 and Thursday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m. Meetings are at 7:30 p.m. at the Welcome Center movie theater. For more information about FANG, visit www.fangconnect.com, email editor@ospreyobserver.com or call FANG coordinator Denise Graf at 643-0730. Everyone is welcome to attend any meeting. Membership dues currently include a FANG business card holder and are just $75 for the year.

 

FishHawk Ranch Community Development District Changes Times & Locations

The FishHawk Ranch Community Development Districts meet the third Monday of each month for CDD II at 2:30 p.m. for CDD I at 3:30 p.m. at the FishHawk Ranch Palmetto Club off of Dorman Rd. For information, contact Pete Williams at 932-8488. Next meeting is Monday, November 20.

 

Autism Support Group Meets

Concerned Parents of Autistic Children, a newly formed support group for the parents and caregivers of autistic children, holds its meetings the last Sunday from 3-5 p.m. each month at Nature’s Health Foods, 3443 Lithia Pinecrest Road in Valrico. 

 

Lake Hutto Vote Delayed Again

After two previous delays, the commission was set to make a determination on Pulte’s proposal for Lake Hutto, a development that could add 4,000 homes north of FishHawk Boulevard on August 10. Instead, commissioners approved another delay the day before the hearing. Pulte’s current proposal adds $70 million worth of infrastructure improvements to the immediate area including an elementary and middle school and an expansion onto Newsome High.

The new hearing is 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 15 at County Center.
