McLauchlin A New Face At Trinity Insurance

East Coast Pizza Ribbon Cutting

To celebrate its recent expansion, East Coast Pizza owner Aaron Fredericks invited the Greater Riverview and Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce members to a ribbon cutting ceremony, accompanied by a free lunch.

Get In Shape At Boot Camp

If you are looking to reduce body fat, lose weight, increase strength and improve endurance, Xtreme Boot Camp may be just what you need. Certified personal trainer Bob Clarkson says the program is intended to bring people together to have fun while getting into shape.

The four-week outdoor program to be held at the Osprey Club basketball court will offer fitness instruction, motivational training and nutritional tips and ideas in a group setting. Clarkson promises it will be filled with excitement and power activities geared toward helping each individual reach his or her goals.

"It doesn't matter what your size or fitness level is now," states Clarkson, who has more than eight years of personal and group training experience. Previously, he launched the Xtreme Boot Camp in Dallas, Tex.

"I love to help people, and I wanted to come up with something that everyone could afford and would still see the same results, if not better. I started an outside boot camp (The Xtreme Boot Camp). This has been a very successful and rewarding journey," he says. "The Dallas boot camp is still running successfully and I am currently running several boot camps in the Tampa area with my partner John Farina."

Farina is a Certified ACSM Personal Trainer/Nutritionist with 16 years of sports and fitness experience. In addition, he has several years of retail management and youth coaching experience.

"Helping people achieve their goals has become a way of life, not just a job. Sculpting smiles on their face through the art of personal training gives me no greater joy," says Farina.

FishHawk Ranch Boot Camp is open to anyone age 15 years or older. Training will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at a time to be determined.

Riverview Professionals Seeking Members

The Riverview Professionals Association (RPA) is a new organization in the area, established by local business owners with the objective of providing easy access to high-quality local businesses in the South Shore area and beyond. The group launched in February with a few local businesses and it expects to add more members over the coming months. 

Current members include representatives from a variety of businesses including real estate, mortgages, fence installation, computer technicians and others.

"Because our insurance agency doesn't provide every product or service that a customer might need, we wanted to offer a listing of local businesses that can meet those other needs with the same level of service we provide to our customers," says Joel Meek, owner of Joel Meek Allstate Insurance???. "Rich Capua, Timothy Charpentier and I created this association to provide another level of service to our customers and the idea is off to a good start."

Progressive Opens New Riverview Center

A new center recently opened in Riverview claims to cut the time customers will have to spend on claims after an accident. The Progressive Group of Insurance Companies, opened a new location at 4119 Foxworth Rd. in Riverview where claims representatives will handle all the details of the claims/repair process for drivers.

"You may think the most stressful part of being involved in a crash is the crash itself.  But, that's just the beginning.  The crash is just the start of a process that some say can take four or more days and can include having to arrange for alternate transportation, find a repair facility and get estimates, track updates, inspect the repairs, etc.," says Todd Parry, Riverview service center manager, Progressive.

But drivers who choose to use Progressive's concierge level of claims service at the new Riverview facility can reduce the amount of time they spend on these details to about 15 minutes.
