Publix Collects Earthquake Relief Funds for Haiti
Customers may donate any amount of money by adding it to their grocery totals when checking out at Publix registers. Monies will be channeled through the American Red Cross and designated specifically for the Haiti Relief & Development Fund. The program will continue for a few weeks, based on customer response.

GARDEN of GRACE MINISTRIES (GGM) extends our love and prayers to the entire Haitian community.  GGM has embarked on a massive relief effort. To that end, we are in need of the following:

Dried food; Clothing & Shoes; Medical Supplies; Face Masks
Drop Off at House of Grace Thrift Store,  7230 US Hwy 301 South, Riverview (opposite the Riverview Flea Market). Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-6p.m.

Also in need of a van or box truck to be used to pick up donations from locations other than the Tampa Bay area. We will accept any vehicle, working condition or not.

CASH – The money will go directly to help people in Haiti immediately. American Red Cross volunteers are already on the ground helping those seriously injured.
MEDICAL SUPPLIES – Bandages, Aspirin, Rubbing Alcohol, Betadine, Bandaids, Ointments, Crutches, Walkers, Canes
and any other available medical materials that can help the injured.
FOOD, CLOTHING & SLEEP ITEMS – Please try to make all contributions easy open cans that don’t require any can openers for easy access. Any and all clothing is needed for all ages. Shoes are also needed. People are in need of sleeping bags and blankets to sleep on. Many are now homeless and sleeping on the streets.

Harvest Time Family Worship Center & Christian School is collecting children’s clothes from our families.  We are researching a local Haitian ministry to link up with to ship these items.  Any help would be appreciated.  If you can help, call Cheryl Brown at 626-4600.

Calvary Evangalical Lutheran Church in Apollo Beach is collecting donations for relief help in Haiti.  You may drop off any financial gifts(checks payable to “Calvary Lutheran Church”) and any new blankets/quilts or clean used ones, we are also putting together health kits (1 hand towel, washcloth, 1 wide-tooth comb, 6 band aids, 1 standard size bar of soap, nail clipper) or donate what you can.  Please know that 100% of all items and financial gifts will be given for Haiti Assistance.  The address  for Calvary Evangalical Lutheran Church is 5309 U.U.
