FishHawk Ranch YMCA Express Signs New Two-Year Lease

YMCA members will be happy to hear that the 4,000 square foot FishHawk Ranch YMCA Express is committed to its Park Square location, a complement to the full service Campo YMCA on Bloomingdale and Culbreath.The Express, which celebrated its opening in 2006, offers a small childcare center, fitness room and cardio and weight training equipement.FishHawk Operations manager Mindy Anderson says, “We are very convenient for the families in the FishHawk community and we are proud to be here.”The FishHawk Express offers state-of-the-art cardio machines which are equipped with Cardio Theatre, a group exercise studio, hosts a wide variety of classes free to members. The Play Center offers high-quality, caring supervision of children age seven and underThe YMCA Express, located on the second story of Park Square in the Center of FishHawk Ranch, has 4,375 sq. feet of space. Donna Rayburn, a resident of FishHawk Ranch, says, “I am so thrilled to know that I can continue the YMCA quality workout right in my neighborhood. FishHawk residents have to drive so far for many amenities, having the YMCA here is such a blessing!”Swimming lessons are offered through the YMCA and taught at the nearby FishHawk Aquatic Club pool. Lessons start at six months and go all the way up to adults. For children, the YMCA offers a competitive swim program, the FishHawk Fins swim team. This summer, the YMCA also has other activities that are geared to area youth such as Pilates, yoga, kids’ cardio and martial arts classes. It is open Monday-Thursday from 6 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. Memberships at the YMCA start at $25-80 per month for a family and scholarships are available.
