Calling all musical fans! The Riverview Little Theater will host eight performances of the Tony Award winning “Chicago” starting Thursday, September 29 in the Riverview High School auditorium.

Premiering in 1975 and the hit of the 1997 Broadway season in a production that originated at City Center’s Encore! series, Chicago won six Tony Awards including Best Revival and later the Academy Award as Best Picture of the Year. Produced by Riverview Little Theater, Chicago is directed by Daron Hawkins, musically directed by G. Frank Meekins and produced by Omar Monte.
The production features Melanie Marie Bierweiler as Velma, Yvelisse Cedrez as Roxy, Omar Montes as Billy Flynn and a cast and crew of over 50 community members of the Tampa, Brandon and South Shore Area. Riverview Little Theater is a community outreach program of Riverview High School, created to present quality theatrical productions for the South Shore area.
Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for seniors and students and are available at www.riverviewhighschool.ticketleap.com or at the Riverview High School box office prior to performances. Performances are September 30 , October 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. and October 2nd and 9 at 2 p.m. Riverview High School is located at 11311 Boyette Rd., Riverview.

This show is rated PG-13 due to adult language and adult situations.
