Primrose School of Bloomingdale, located at 1280 Bloomingdale Ave. in Valrico, in now open and applications for enrollment are now being accepted.

Primrose Schools have been a leader in early childhood development for 25 years. Ketan and Ami Gohil are pleased to bring the Primrose mission and vision to Brandon with the opening of Primrose School of Bloomingdale, located at 1280 Bloomingdale Ave. in Valrico.

Ketan and Ami have first-hand experience in the Primrose system as volunteers, educators and parents of two students.

Primrose Schools utilize a unique accredited curriculum known as Balanced Learning. This combines the best of two teaching principles. One principle is child initiated where children are free to explore with teacher support. The other principle places greater emphasis on teacher direction where an established curriculum leads children along a consistent learning path.

According to Ketan, “Children entering kindergarten, who have gone through the Primrose system, attain a significantly higher overall level of mastery of school readiness concepts.” He added, “They tend to be the most prepared for kindergarten.”

“The focus on development of the whole child, from infant (six weeks) to Pre-K is what sets Primrose Schools apart,” said Ketan. “I wake up in the morning knowing that we are going to make a positive impact on children’s lives,” Ketan added.

Primrose School of Bloomingdale offers full-day tuition programs which include meals for toddlers through Pre-K. An after-school program for children in Kindergarten-fifth grade will also be offered. The after-school program will also focus on education but also allow children to unwind with age-appropriate outdoor and indoor activities.

In addition to employing caring, nurturing and passionate teachers, Primrose School of Bloomingdale will employ a director, assistant director and a chef. The school is built with a kitchen so that well-balanced meals and snacks can be prepared on site. Ami, who has worked as an educator for Primrose School, is involved in the day-to-day operations of the new school.
