Lighthouse Center For Creative Learning is holding its first annual Fall Festival on Saturday November 5, from 1-4 p.m.

Lighthouse Center for Creative Learning is a small private Interdenominational Christian school of about 70 students serving the Brandon community.
The school was founded more than 10 years ago, on the belief that all children, no matter what their learning style or disability, should have the opportunity to attend a school that offers hope and faith, which overcomes every obstacle. As a school, it embraces every learning style and has a reputation of being an innovative, caring and creative program.
Just as a real Lighthouse stands and shines as beacon in the night helping to guide those who are lost and struggling, many families with special needs children have discovered Lighthouse.
The school offers both general and special education classes. Whether a child has a special need, or needs to be challenged more, caring certified teachers meet their educational needs in the smaller sized classrooms. Lighthouse also offers speech, occupational and behavioral therapy, tutoring, aftercare and summer camp.
The school’s family-friendly event takes place on Saturday, November 5, from 1-4 p.m. The festival will host a variety of booths, games, prizes, bake sale and a cake walk. The school is located at 516 Corner Dr. in Brandon.
In lieu, of an admission fee, it is requesting donations of toiletry items such as toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, hair brushes, combs, shampoo, soap, deodorant and feminine hygiene items that will benefit families in need.
The school is still looking for bake sale donations and prizes. Should any business wish to make a donation, please contact the festival coordinator for more information shawnalbenton@gmail.com.
