Sprouts, located at 1219 Hummingbird Ln. in Brandon, offers special birthday parties such as the "Olivia" themed party held for 4-year-old Ella Wunder.

Sprouts, an early learning activity center, located at 1219 Hummingbird Ln. in Brandon, provides structured play for children, and their parent or caregiver, ages 9 months to 6 years old. Children can play, dance and listen to stories and music. Sprouts provides them the opportunity to interact and develop social skills in a safe, loving and fun environment.
Janine Chapuis was a Sprouts’ parent long before she became of the owner of this locally created and owned, one of a kind activity center. Chapuis said, “We want parents to be with their children and bond with them in a playful, social environment.” Chapuis added, “I watched my own three children progress and learn in this environment, and I want to provide that opportunity for others.”
Sprouts offers a full range of activities which include art, gymnastics (led by Kim Martino), music and coming this January, Mommy and Me Yoga with Maria Fentress. Classes are conveniently scheduled Monday through Saturday. Each class is small so that each child gets individual attention. Classes are organized by age. “This is a great opportunity for stay at home moms to provide a place for children to get socialization and interact with others,” said Chapuis. “No matter what the weather is outside, we are always ready to play,” added Chapuis.
Sprouts also offers Early Release Art on Mondays for elementary school children from 2-3 p.m. On Monday, December 19 and Tuesday, December 20, Sprouts will hold Christmas Art Camp for children ages three to nine. Chapuis explained, “Each class is $14 and will last one and a half hours. We will provide a variety of holiday art projects, including ornaments and gifts.”
If you are looking for a different venue for a special birthday party, look no further than Sprouts. Lindsy Wunder, of FishHawk Ranch, held her daughter, Ella’s, fourth birthday party at Sprouts. Wunder said, “Our party was wonderful. Janine, who took care of everything, went above and beyond.” Wunder added, “Ella’s theme was ‘Olivia.’ Janine made each girl a red tutu that they all just loved. The girls’ parents have told me how much fun they had at the party.”
