For a truly memorable Valentine’s gift, send your loved one a Singing Valentine courtesy of The Heralds of Harmony. You will leave your sweetheart speechless, and this gift will be remembered for years to come.

This Valentine’s Day, instead of giving the standard box of chocolates or expensive roses, why give a Singing Valentine from the Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony. A quartet from the Heralds, dressed in tuxedoes, will visit your loved one anywhere in theTampaBayarea including homes, offices, hospitals, the airport and restaurants.

The Singing Valentine can be delivered on Sunday, February 12, Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, February 14. The quartet will sing two songs (“Let Me Call You Sweetheart” and “Heart of My Heart”), present a personalized card and lovely mug filled with chocolates. This original and wonderful gift is available for only $50.00. Steve Mathison, a long time member of the Heralds and chair of this year’s event said, “It’s cheaper than a dozen roses and more fun!” Mathison added, “We’ll hear stories about the Singing Valentines ten years from now. You don’t hear about other gifts. I think it’s because it is so unusual.”

Mathison also explained that $5.00 of the $50.00 will get donated to Metropolitan Ministries. So not only will you be giving a fabulous gift, but you will also be helping someone in need during these tough economic times.

Robert Lawson, a 15 year member of the Heralds said, “It’s one of the most special things we do. The responses that we get from this are just overwhelming. The singers get as much from this as does the recipient of the Singing Valentine.”

The Heralds of Harmony are a premiere men’s a capella chorus which has been entertaining theTampaBayarea in the Barbershop style since 1945. They are simply a fabulous group of singers. The Heralds recently visited Brandon South Rotary. Karen Atkinson, a member of the club said, “They captured the hearts of our entire group as they marched us down memory lane with a song.”

The Heralds are affiliated with the international organization, the Barbershop Harmony Society. If you are interested in joining this fabulous group, please call 228-7730.
