The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to hold the 2012 Health Fair, scheduled for Saturday, March 3, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Campo Family Y, located at 3414 Culbreath Rd. in Valrico.

According to the chamber, the event  provides dozens of health-related industry members the opportunity to exhibit their products and services to the community.

“More than 700 people took advantage of the health services and latest educational materials offered at the 2011 Health Fair,” said  Brandon Chamber Communication and Marketing Director Justin Kropff. Admission into the event and all health screenings provided throughout the day at various exhibit booths are once again free to the public.

This year’s Title Sponsor is Brandon Regional Hospital; Platinum Sponsors are Aparicio Levy – Technical Center, Bill’s Prescription Center and Women’s Care of Brandon; Gold Sponsors are Bloomingdale Radiology Center, Brandon Cataract Center & Eye Clinic, Drug Screen Solutions, Inc., Everest University, Hawthorne Village Retirement Community, Polley Family Wellness Center and Stubbs Orthodontics. “Of course, additional sponsorship opportunities are still available,” Kropff said. “Exhibitor space is also available, $100 for Brandon Chamber of Commerce members and $200 for prospective members.”

Campo Y Associate Operations Executive Director Dayna Davidson was grateful to the Brandon Chamber for once again hosting the event and all the volunteers for their hard work, continued commitment to encourage Y members and the public to take advantage of the endless programs offered at the Valrico facility.

“The upcoming health fair is just another way for the Y to team up with the community – both Y members and the public – to promote healthy living in the Brandon area,” Davidson said.
