CinéBistro in Hyde Park offers intimate in-theatre dining and is a great date night option.

The weekend is finally here and the stars have aligned so that you have a date night out. What to do? Traditional dinner and a movie sound good but what about dinner at the movies? With the CinéBistro at Hyde Park Village, both are available and there is a guarantee that no crying babies will tear into that intimate dinner out.

CinéBistro, a dinner and a movie concept from Cobb theatres, offers an intimate setting, high-back leather seating  with full bar and dinner service; just plan to arrive at your movie at least 30 minutes early so there is enough time to order.

“The way we describe it,” said manager Coby Shepard, “is we are an upscale dinner movie theatre with a chef-created menu. We take your order 30 minutes before the movie starts so we don’t disturb guests during movie. We also offer a full bar with wines and a good selection of spirits.”

CinéBistro has been in Hyde Park for three years and is also the home of the Gasparilla Film Festival.  “We typically run first-run movies or independent films,” described Shepard. “And, we show the Metropolitan Opera live feed.”

CinéBistro Hyde Park is reserved for adults age 21 and up and offers six theatres: two 68-seat theatres, two 47-seat theatres and two large 100-seat theatres. The Hyde Park location marks the seventh location of the concept in the country. In addition to the Hyde Park location, there is another CinéBistro located at The Grove at Wesley Chapel.

For special events, CinéBistro offers wine dinners, including full dinner servings by reservation only in the lobby. In addition, special Hollywood Big Nights are hosted, which feature the Oscars.

“We always recommend everyone to go online and reserve seats for best seats,” encouraged Shepard.

The menu is contemporary and includes grilled flatbread with balsamic figs and brie, white bean hummus dip, fish tacos, sesame seared tuna, churrasco steak and frites and desserts including deconstructed peanut butter pie, Cinéful chocolate cake and more. Food is served right to the seats, which each have a small table connected.

Tickets for CinéBistro movies are $14.50 for movies, $12.50 for matinees, with a $3 additional fee for 3D movies. Senior and military discounts are available. Visit http://cobbcinebistro.com/hyde to reserve tickets.
