Join other food and wine enthusiasts at the Fifth Annual Vine to Wine on Friday, May 18, at The Regent in Riverview. You can sample fine wines provided by Premiere Beverage and nosh on delectable treats created by Chef Dave. All funds raised directly benefit A Kid’s Place located in Brandon.

The Trey Curry Foundation is proud to present the Fifth Annual Vine to Wine on Friday, May 18, at The Regent, located at 6437 Watson Rd. in Riverview, from 7-10 p.m. The event directly benefits A Kid’s Place, a community initiative of Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, Inc. Advance tickets are $50. After Monday, April 30, ticket price will increase to $75.

Vine to Wine is a food and wine extravaganza which benefits a great organization, A Kid’s Place. Gourmet food is provided by Chef Dave, of the Rolling Pin Kitchen Emporium. Wines are provided by Premier Beverage.

Bridget Robertson, communications manager for Kids Charity of Tampa Bay, said, “Prepare your palate for an exceptional wine tasting like no other. Guests will sample exclusive wines paired with gourmet food, experience a live cooking demonstration by Chef Dave of the Rolling Pin Kitchen Emporium.”

Robertson added, “Guests will have a chance to bid on a wide array of silent and live auction items while listening to fine entertainment and enjoying a great cigar.”

A Kid’s Place, located at 1715 Lithia Pinecrest Rd. in Brandon, is a state-of-the-art residential care facility that provides a safe and loving environment for children from birth to 17 years of age who have been removed from their home due to abuse, abandonment or neglect. A Kid’s Place is unique in that it strives to keep families intact.

Kids Charity of Tampa Bay’s mission is to improve the quality of life for foster children by providing advocacy, opportunities, support and resources. According to Robertson, “We accomplish this mission through several community initiatives. A Kid’s Place is the most visible community initiative of Kids Charity of Tampa Bay.”

The Trey Curry Foundation was founded in honor and memory of Terry and Clif Curry’s son, Trey. The foundation has made a long term commitment to the operations of A Kid’s Place. Recently, a house bearing Trey Curry’s name was unveiled at A Kid’s Place.
