Two of the rookie Buccaneers Cheerleaders after their makeovers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheer Squad has a lot of changes happening in the 2012-13 season with a new coaching staff, new uniforms and new cheerleaders that joined the squad after their tryouts in March. Before the cheerleaders’ schedules are packed with photo shoot dates and personal appearances, the rookies were able to indulge in extreme makeovers at New Identities Hair Studio.

This is the ninth year that New Identities Hair Studio has held the Bucs Cheerleader’s Rookie Makeover Day. “The event is very unique and New Identities has exclusively done the hair for the Bucs Cheerleaders since 2003,” said Marc

Rockquemore, co-owner of New Identities Hair Salon with his wife, Kelly. “The artistic team of hair designers, along with the creative vision of coach Cathy Boyd, performed makeovers on the rookie cheerleaders to prepare them for the ‘looks’ that they will sport for the 2012-13 football season.”

Like the girls that were chosen for the squad, New Identities Marc and Kelly are proud that their salon has been chosen, year-after-year, to work exclusively with the Bucs Cheerleaders. “We have been chosen out of more the 1,000 salons in the entire Tampa Bay area,” said Marc. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our salon and stylists and it’s an honor.” The stylists at New Identities Hair Salon also make over the cheerleaders for each home game.

New Identities Hair Studios is located at 10639 Big Bend Road in Riverview and 15307 Amberly Dr. in Tampa. For more information, visit www.NewIdentitiesSalon.com or call 741-1177 (Riverview location) or 979-0760 (Tampa location).
