A networking event will take place at the Town & Country Regional Public Library, located at 7606 Paula Dr. in Tampa on Tuesday, August 21 at 5:30 p.m. (registration) and event from 6-8 p.m. follows. The first part of the event will be dedicated to giving important information to the community during this election season: After the Primaries – “X Ray”s to the Ballot, by the non-for-profit organization Mi Familia Vota and its group of panelists.

For the second part, the organizations will share their mission and vision and will exchange additional information with the attendees.

A power point will be presented by Wilfred Benitez of Mi Familia Vota explaining positions, salary, terms and other information to give a bigger picture of what is presented on the ballot. A panel with those organizations talking about the 11 amendments -pros and cons. A few minutes each side to inform only: yes or no to each amendment.  There will also be a presentation of all non-profit organizations attending the event. Each  representative informs the audience about their mission and vision. They can place their promotional material on a table designated for this purpose. Promotional material for candidates or for positions on the amendments are not allowed.

All the community and organizations of all communities are invited. There will be voting information and registration table. Event and parking are free, but seating is limited. Will be held in Spanish and English. Refreshments will be available.
