Dining out has become a special treat for many of us. During two weeks, beginning on Friday, August 3-Friday, August 17, you can enjoy many Bay area restaurants at a special value price during Dine Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. Diners can enjoy a prix-fixe dinner for $25, $35 or $45.(excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). Participating restaurants will offer both a special Restaurant Week menu and their regular full menu.

The goal of Dine Tampa Bay Restaurant Week is to make Tampa Bay one of the top culinary destinations in the nation by raising awareness of all of the fabulous dining opportunities there are in the area. It also gives diners a chance to try something new with the security of knowing exactly how much you will be spending.

The prix-fixe menu options include an appetizer, main entree and dessert. No tickets are required, but reservations at participating restaurants are highly recommended.
There are more than 120 restaurants participating. Locally, GrillSmith located at 459 Brandon Town Center Dr. in Brandon; Bonefish Grill, located at 1015 Providence Rd. in Brandon; Carrabba’s Italian Grill, located at 801 Providence Rd. in Brandon; as well as several Outback Steak Houses in Brandon, FishHawk and Plant City are participating.

Jeremy Majewski, managing partner for GrillSmith Brandon, said, “We have participated in Dine Tampa Bay Restaurant Week for several years. We invite guests to try our fantastic menu.” All of the menus for the participating restaurants can be found online. As an example, GrillSmith is offering a $25 prix-fixe menu which features their spicy thai shrimp or filet tip egg roll for appetizer, Mediterranean salmon, chicken milanese or GrillSmith pasta for entrees and Grand Marnier crème brulee or brownie parfait for dessert.

Dine Tampa Bay Restaurant Week is simply the perfect opportunity for you to go out on the town to some of the Bay area’s best restaurants including Mise en Place, Donatello, Wine Exchange Bistro and Bar, Ocean Prime and many others.
