Fall is almost upon us and with the cooler temperatures on the way, there’s no better time to go bicycling and enjoy the outdoors. Whether your goal is to complete a marathon or take a family bike ride through the park, Brandon Bikeworks is there to serve you.

Opening its doors in 2011, owner David Luppino is excited to share his experience and love of biking. “My family and I have been in the bicycle business in Tampa for 16 years and this is our fifth store. We wanted to do something as a family that was fun and rewarding for us and the community.” With a background in hotel management, Luppino feels that he understands how to deliver a great customer experience by listening to the needs of his customers. He believes that by delivering the service that he himself would expect, he will be rewarded with a satisfied customer who keeps coming back. “We do not intimidate the new rider and love to help get new riders on their first bike. We sell bikes for every level of cyclist,” Luppino shared.

Besides his many years of business experience, he is also a long time cyclist, experimenting in mountain biking, road bikes and BMX racing. His goal is to educate bikers to become safe riders. “I feel an educated and safe cyclist is what our community needs more than just getting bikes out the door and feel we really make you feel that way when you come to see us.”

With just three employees, Brandon Bikeworks definitely has that family owned feel to it and customers have the benefit of really getting to know the people they are dealing with.  Bikeworks provides mechanical service to bikes that need tuned-up or upgraded and they also sell any bicycling gear you may need to get started or move to the next level. In addition, the employees can guide riders on the best trails in the area.

You can find more information about Brandon Bikeworks on its Website at www.brandonbikeworks.com. It is located at 6048 Winthrop Town Centre Ave. and is open seven days a week.

“If you take the time to stop and visit us we promise to listen to your needs and truly help you with what you want. We look forward to taking care of you and all of your biking needs,” Luppino concluded.
