Renee Swope will be speaking on Saturday, September 29, as part of The Greater Brandon Girlfriend’s Gathering “A Confident Heart.” Swope, a gifted speaker, author and nationally syndicated radio co-host, is known for her ability to connect with women of all ages and stages of life, she has a unique way of inspiring women. Her messages are sprinkled with humor and saturated with life changing truth.
Swope’s journey included years of struggling with clinical depression and days that were so dark it seemed that suicide was the only way out. She said, “But God rescued me from that pit, and from a whole lot of other things that had led me down the path that finally led to Him.”
This extraordinary day is being hosted by the Girlfriends Ministry of Bell Shoals Baptist Church and RTS Missions. It will be held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, located at 2102 Bell Shoals Rd. in Brandon. Women in the community are invited to attend.

Your day continues as Renee shares three life-changing messages that address the core issues of a woman’s soul: living securely in insecure times, battling the “disease to please” and discovering our unique place in this world.
After the second session, you can enjoy lunch with your girlfriends, and don’t forget to stop by the Chic Boutique to pick up a Radical Girlfriend’s chocolate candy bar to eat on the way home.
Doors open at 8 a.m., the event begins at 8:45 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. Tickets are only $15 with an option to purchase a ‘Girlfriends boxed lunch’ for just $5.
