Noorani Medical Center, owned and operated by Dr. Nazneen Noorani, has opened its doors and is now accepting patients.

Located at 4320 Bell Shoals Rd. (on the corner of Glen Haven Dr. and Bell Shoals Rd.) , Noorani Medical Center is owned and operated by Dr. Nanzeen Noorani, who is board certified in Family Practice and Hospice. She earned her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Montgomery Family Practice in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Noorani is a family practitioner focusing on adult medicine; she sees patients aged 18 and older.

While working at a medical practice in Chicago, she set her sights on the warmer climate of Florida.

The warm weather wasn’t the only benefit of the move. It also afforded her the opportunity to start her own practice and manage it her own way.

“I want to make it easy for patients to come in, get seen and provide good-quality health care,” she said.

Noorani says she wants to make going to the doctor convenient. Her services include but are not limited to preventative health screenings, comprehensive physical exams, Well Woman exams and Pap smears, disease management, minor dermatological procedures, immunizations, and hospital and nursing home care.

She offers in-office lab testing and a mobile ultrasound unit is at her office every other week providing a full range of ultrasound services.

The office is completely paperless; using technology to streamline the office visit. Televisions in the exam rooms are utilized to display lab results or to provide information to patients about their disease process or the benefits of prescribed medications.

The center’s hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m.–4 p.m., however Noorani says her hours will be based on the community’s need. “I don’t mind staying late if my patients need to be seen,” she said.
