Music Showcase will present its Annual Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Music Showcase located at 402 Oakfield Dr. in Brandon. There will be over 50 vendors on hand with a wide array of items such as makeup, jewelry and lots of craft items. Local vendors will also be on hand with food and entertainment. For the kids, look for balloon animals, bounce house, face painting, kids’ crafts and more.

Students from Music Showcase who have been in recitals will be showcasing what they have learned. On the outside stage, there will be performances from the Riverview High School Band, Orchestra and Show Choirs. Students from Seffner Christian Academy will perform throughout the day, as well as Rockestra from the Florida Academy of Performing Arts, Leonard’s Dance Academy and a flute choir from the Eastern Hillsborough Community Band.

Children of all ages will be delighted when Santa Claus makes an appearance at this family, fun-filled event. You will have the opportunity to get photos with Santa. “We have been hosting this event for about ten years. It has grown every year and is a fun and great way for local crafters to showcase their creations. It is also a great way for our students to showcase their talents,” said Deborah Evans, Director of Promotions and Marketing for Music Showcase and FAOPA.

Parking and entertainment are free. Music Showcase would like all attendees to donate a new toy for Toys for Tots or a small gift for a foster child. “Throughout the year, Music Showcase collects items for various charities such as the Spring and Metropolitan Ministries. In December, we collect toys for Toys for Tots and gifts for foster children whose names are on an Angel Tree,” explained Evans. This is a great way to have a fun and entertaining day, support the local community and get some holiday gifts for that special someone in your life.
