Hills borough County Sheriff’s detectives are searching for a suspect they believe is responsible for two bank robberies that accounted in the Brandon area this week.

The suspect described as a Black Male, 5’11” – 6’0″, 180-200 lbs., between 30-35yrs of age, with facial hair goatee, wore a vertical stripped dress shirt; teal green, blue and white strips, black ball cap with the writing to the effect of “Poker Room”, as well as dark colored pants with white strip on the legs and black shoes.

The bank robbery occurred at the Chase Bank located at 10943 Causeway Boulevard in Brandon. Deputies said that on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at approximately 11:48 a.m., the suspect entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money.

The teller complied and after receiving an undisclosed amount of currency, the suspect fled, deputies said.

Detectives believe that about an hour later at approximately 12:36 p.m., the same suspect walked into the SunTrust Bank located at 701 W Dr. King Boulevard in Seffner and committed a second robbery.

After each robbery the suspect fled the bank on foot.
