Portion Of Natures Way Boulevard In Bloomingdale To Be Closed For Repairs

Motorists along a portion of Natures Way Boulevard in Bloomingdale should be prepared to take alternate routes as work gets under way to repair a sewage line.

Starting today, two of the four lanes of Natures Way will be closed between Callista Avenue and Dunaire Drive to set up bypass pumping operations.

According to County officials, starting next week, all four lanes will be closed to repair the 18-inch ductile iron pipeline.

Through-traffic on Natures Way will be rerouted at Greenhollow Lane and Glenhaven Drive.

County spokes person Michelle Van Dyke said that the work is expected to take two weeks.

“Depending on the extent of the repairs and to expedite the work, crews may be on site after normal working hours,” she said. “Water and wastewater service interruptions are not expected.

Motorists should observe all road signs and detour routes, and use caution while navigating in the area around the repairs, especially near construction workers.

For more information and to report any problems during the construction, call the Hillsborough County Public Utilities Department at  813-744-5600 .
