When A.T. “Red” Glass moved to Brandon in 1970, he never expected he would leave a legacy for his family and for Eastern Hillsborough County that would last 40 years. Today, Brandon Rental Centers continues its tradition of excellent service in the rental of everything from electrical and heavy loading equipment to fine china and even tents.

To celebrate four decades of business in Seffner and Riverview, Brandon Rental Centers is throwing a party.

The event, scheduled for March 30 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., will include a yard sale of used equipment, music, games, food and giveaways. Owners will also be providing a 10% discount on any reservation booked during the party.

“This is a thank you party for buying and promoting our products and service, for putting up with the occasional ‘growing pains’ and just for helping put Brandon Rental on the map,” said Ashleigh Pulliam, a spokesperson for Brandon Rental Centers.

As a further thank you, Pulliam said that a portion of all proceeds from the event would go to local charity.

“The future looks bright,” Pulliam said. “We want to acknowledge your contribution to this rosy outlook by having an open house customer appreciation party.”

Since 1973, the Glass family and Brandon Rental Centers have provided affordable equipment rentals for both residents and businesses in Hillsborough County. In 1975, they became the first STIHL Outdoor Power Equipment dealer in the Brandon area.

Today, they continue to offer an extensive variety of light and heavy equipment and event rentals. Among their construction equipment options are everything from simple clamps to lifts and excavators. At the same time, customers can rent a large assortment of items for any event, from table runners to archways, concession equipment and even rollaway beds for their guests.

“We want to thank the Brandon and surrounding communities for 40 great years,” said Pulliam “It has been a great place to live and grow”
