Lena Maxey Charm and Tradition is Riverview’s one-stop shop where you can decorate your home, purchase a new outfit or get a makeover.  Where else can you do so much in one location?  The shop, which opened its doors in September of 2011, is expanding its operation and opens its new, larger space on Monday, April 1.

The unique spa/boutique offers a wide array of services and merchandise.   “We offer many different things here. We have a full service furniture restoration and custom painting as well as custom built-to-order pieces,” owner Staci Bentley said.  She calls the style of the pieces in the shop, ‘shabby chic’.  Lena Maxey also carries the full line of CeCe Caldwell’s Clay and Chalk Paints and Finishes and offers classes to learn the proper use of the products.

The expansion offers new home services including Charla’s Interiors, a complete interior design service, The Alcove; featuring Sojia Andes, Distressed Nest; featuring Cari Majors and Pish Posh; featuring Veronica Perkins and Tammy Freathy.

In addition to home décor, the boutique carries women’s apparel, jewelry and accessories.  Shoppers can also find unique gift items and are urged to check back frequently as the items are always changing. “We were hoping to create a lifestyle destination,” Bentley shares.

The full-service hair salon offers Brazilian Blowout, Keratin treatments, Moracan Oil, and Ethnic services by extensively trained stylists.  “As part of our expansion, we are offering Esthetician services, including eyelash extensions, pedicures, manicures and massage.” All stylists and estheticians are contractors, so customers should call for pricing.

Join Lena Maxey for the Expansion Celebration which is scheduled for Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. There will be food, drinks, door prizes and discounts available.

Lena Maxey is located at 13212 Boyette Rd. in Riverview.  Store hours are Monday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  More information can be found on their website at www.lenamaxey.com as well as their Facebook page, which often displays featured store items.
