Tim Lowry, representative and Chief Operations Officer of Ambassador International Publishing, will be a guest speaker at the Florida Inspirational Writer’s Retreat on Saturday, September 28. Aspiring writers will have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and even possibly begin the road to becoming a published author through Ambassador International Publishing.

Though Ambassador International has a Christian worldview, they are not a strictly religious publisher and publish a variety of genres from cookbooks to fashion to history to children’s books. One of their best sellers is a book entitled The Titanic’s Last Hero by Moody Adams. Ambassador has also published local author Ruth Carmichael Ellinger’s best-selling Wildrose series. This company would like to enhance their partnership with both experienced and first-time authors. Ambassador is also interested in expanding distribution for the hundreds of titles they currently print. “Our goal in speaking to writers is to help authors adapt to the rapidly changing world of publishing,” Lowry elaborates.

As the son of the founder of Ambassador International, Tim Lowry has been with the company for nearly 14 years. “You could say I grew up around publishing,” Lowry explains. This publisher is excited to speak on “What you Need to Know Before and After the Manuscript” at the Writer’s Retreat next month.

He will also be offering free personal 15 minute consultations for ambitious writers who attend the retreat. “This is an opportunity for writers to ask a publisher any questions they may have about the manuscript submission and publishing process. I believe there will be a sign up sheet, and I’d suggest those with manuscripts come prepared with one sheet,” Lowry informs.
