Arts_Br Ballet 2The Brandon Ballet will present the classic ballet, Cinderella, on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at Spoto High School Auditorium located at 8538 Eagle Palm Dr. in Riverview. The Brandon Ballet is proud to partner with and benefit the Children’s Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay for this performance.

The Brandon Ballet and its Artistic Director, Octavio Martin, will present this one-night performance with a contemporary twist on the classical, full length ballet, Cinderella. This performance will feature a unique musical score by Johann Strauss and innovative choreography. Cinderella is a classic fairytale sprinkled with humor which will delight and charm the entire family.

The Brandon Ballet is pleased to present this performance in partnership with the Children’s Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay, which is a unique photographic exhibit created to find forever families for children in foster care. The Children’s Board Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay specifically recruits for high risk children who have had parental rights terminated and are particularly difficult to find permanent homes.

The Brandon Ballet was founded in 1993. It is a non-profit regional ballet company that develops and promotes opportunities for aspiring young dancers. Martin’s mission “is to provide the Brandon and surrounding communities with the highest caliber of training in the art of dance and to allow Tampa Bay the opportunity to have a ballet company that will aid the area in cultural development.”

The Brandon Ballet strives to make the performing arts accessible to the community. Tickets for this wonderful production are just $25 for adults, $15 for children and students (18 and under) and $20 for seniors 55 and older.
