Apollo Beach has a new healthcare option with the recent opening of the Holistic Medical Care Center in the South Commerce Center. It was founded by Nataliya Sia, ARNP and Dr. George Rucker, MD. Its company motto is “Blending Medicine with a Holistic Approach.”

Holistic medicine is a healing-oriented, integrative medicine that considers the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle and emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient. Holistic Medical Care Clinic’s mission is to provide the best health care utilizing integrative medicine which is a blend of conventional/Western medicine and complementary therapies. “We believe in treating the whole person, emphasizing prevention and health maintenance, and looking for the underlying cause and addressing that, not just treating the symptoms,” said Sunny Sia, RN and office manager.

“We also strive to spend time with our patients, which some doctors may not do nowadays.”

Nataliya is a Riverview resident and a native of the Ukraine who speaks Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese-Mandarin and English. She graduated from USF and decided to partner with Dr. Rucker, who was looking to open his third clinic. The practice specializes in Urology with primary and urgent care services. Dr. Rucker is from Bradenton. He is a Urologist and General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Virginia Medical School in 1995 and did his surgical residency at Cornell Medical and Sloan Kettering Cancer centers in Manhattan, N.Y. He opened his first practice in Bradenton years ago and then another in Tampa before working with Nataliya.
