Channing Park Popcorn in the Park
On Saturday, July 12 there will be a Popcorn in the Park event for all Channing Park residents. There will be activities for kids and the movie begins at dusk. For more information about Popcorn in the Park and other upcoming events, e-mail channing parklifestyle@gmail.com.
Lithia Ranch Tack and Yard Sale
On Saturday, August 16 there will be a Tack and Yard Sale in Lithia Ranch. This event starts at 9 a.m. Residents can put their garage sale items in their yard, or bring their tack and horse gear over to the Shirley’s to display and sell. The Lithia Ranch Homeowners Association will advertise this event to local areas and organizations. There will be more information as the event gets closer.
Mowing Schedule for Lithia Ranch
The lots in Lithia Ranch must be mowed three times a year. There is a mowing schedule set annually by the Board of Directors and Agricultural Committee. All three required mowing are centered on the growing season. If a resident does not mow their property by the set date, that will result in the HOA contracting to have the property mowed, and they will charge the land owner for the cost of the mowing, including a service charge. Residents may choose to mow themselves, or hire their own mowing service. The HOA can supply homeowners with names of mowing services, or a resident may give permission to a local farmer to have their property mowed and baled out (which they usually do for free). The mowing schedule for the rest of the year is: August 1 and October 1.
