The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce’s July Luncheon was Membership Appreciation which announced the 2015 Honorary Mayor of Riverview, Christian Beiter of Preservation 1st Financial Group, LLC. Beiter raised over $8,000 that will be divided between the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce and his charity of choice, YMCA Camp Cristina.

Attorney Damon Glisson Receives Election Honor

Shore Bliss Yoga Offers New Series

Shore Bliss Yoga is offering an eight week series on the energy centers of the human body called chakras. BC_EfficientSun City City Council Selects Builder for Campus Expansion

Brandon Chamber Hosting 2014 Election Hob Nob

Upper Cervical Care Launches Operation Book Bag       

 Too many children are being sent to school without the basic supplies that are essential to good learning. Upper Cervical Health Centers of America is launching “OPERATION BOOKBAG,” a school supplies drive to benefit underprivileged children in the community. Its goal is to collect 50 book bags filled with school supplies and it is asking for the help of the community in reaching this goal. Anyone donating a book bag with school supplies will receive half off of an office visit and a Certificate of Health to give to a friend or family member for a complimentary new patient exam. South Bay Hospital Starting Cancer Support Group

South Bay Hospital is starting a support group for any person who is undergoing treatment for cancer. The group will focus on coping with cancer diagnosis and treatment for both cancer patients and non-professional caregivers. All those whose lives have been touched by cancer are invited to attend.

The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 14 and will be held twice a month on the first Monday and second Thursday at 9:30 a.m. All meetings will take place in South Bay Hospital’s Medical Auditorium located at 1901 Haverford Ave., Ste. 106 in Sun City Center.
