New Board Member Certification Training for all Homeowners Association Members
Neighborhood Relations Hillsborough County is holding DBPR approved certification requirement course on Saturday, August 23 from 9-11 a.m.
All newly elected members of a homeowners association’s board of directors must be certified, pursuant to Section 720.3033(1) FL. This course is optional and is in lieu of certifying in writing.
The courses will take place at Hillsborough County Center at 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., 26th Floor, in Tampa.

Reminders for Copper Ridge Residents
It’s been a long, hot summer and there are a plethora of homes in need of pressure washing. All landscaping is growing and should be cut and trimmed. The homeowners association of Copper Ridge would also like to remind its residents that parking on the grass, sidewalk strip or the lawn is prohibited, as well as blocking the street to the point that a police car or emergency vehicle would have trouble getting past.

coming Buckhorn Homeowners Association Events
The fall newsletter will be delivered to Buckhorn residents the weekend of Saturday, October 18. Halloween At The Park will be held for residents on Saturday, October 25. There will be a Buckhorn Community Garage Sale on Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8, and the Santa Claus Parade and Santa At The Park will be Saturday, December 13. There will also be a Christmas lights judging on Sunday, December 21.
Buckhorn Homeowners Association’s e-mail alerts/information notices have begun again for Buckhorn residents who have submitted their e-mail addresses. The e-mails will be delivered through Constant Contact.com, which is Buckhorn’s new e-mailing service provider. Residents who want to be added to the e-mail list can send their e-mail address to BEHA@ Buckhorn.Us .

Registration Open for Private Preschool in Brentwood Hills
A Child’s Haven Preschool is located inside Brentwood Hills at 1520 Brentwood Hills Blvd. in Valrico. Registration is open for the fall term. School will begin on Tuesday, August 19. There will be an open house on Saturday, August 16 from 10-11 a.m. For more information, call 684-1622.
Semi-Annual Garage Sale in Brentwood Hills
The second of the garage sales sponsored by the Brentwood Hills Homeowners Association will be on Saturday, October 11. It will take place at individual homes, and residents can open their garages to sell items. The HOA will do the advertising.
