A creatively landscaped yard with all of the right trees and shrubs, Florida-friendly plants and flowers, perhaps a water feature, fireplace or some accent lighting can provide a backyard of serenity or a front yard with major curb appeal.

Palmscapes opened in January at its current location at 12288 Boyette Rd. and is owned by a trio of area residents, Stan Ferkul, Rich Kelleher and Mike Brown.

“While this is a new location, Palmscapes has been synonymous with Riverview for many years,” said Kelleher.

At Palmscapes, residents can find just about anything they need to spruce up their landscape including a huge selection of palms and other trees, plants and flowers; fountains, pottery and other decorative items; plus lighting, and more. The only service not offered is lawn maintenance.

Palmscapes landscaping team will come out to residential or commercial locations and put together whatever the customer’s vision is, providing complete landscape design and installation services.

“We partner with the best businesses in the area to provide the best prices, service and quality on irrigation, pavers, sod and other items,” Kelleher said.

All of the plants and flowers at Palmscapes are grown at its 10-acre greenhouse and nursery in Plant City and hand-selected for its retail location, setting it apart from other local garden centers and big-box retailers.

“Customers will find the best of the best,” said Kelleher. In addition, owners are on-site to help with questions or other issues.

Palmscapes offers full-service throughout Hillsborough County and beyond, including the neighborhoods of FishHawk, Riverview, Brandon, Valrico and the entire SouthShore area.

A produce stand selling organic fruits and vegetables and a BBQ place on-site make it a one-stop shop.

Whether it is just a few flowers or plants or an entire landscape makeover, Palmscapes can provide everything a customer needs.

“If we do not have it, we will find it for you,” Kelleher added.
