Christ Community Church is having a positive impact in the lives of the people in the community.  Every Sunday is offers two different worship services. The Traditional Worship Service begins at 9:30 a.m. and the Contemporary Worship Service begins at 11 a.m. Its meeting location is Kids ‘R’ Kids off of Big Bend Rd. located at 13151 Kings Lake Dr. in Gibsonton.  During the worship service, there is a full nursery for children up to 4 -years -old and children’s church for children up to the fifth grade.

This growing church recently added Brooks Pipher to their staff as its Youth Pastor who will focus on ministering to young adults and youth.

“Pastor Charlie Lewis was my Youth Pastor in Melbourne, Fla., and after I graduated from the seminary this past May I wanted to work with him at Christ Community Church,” said Pipher.

There will be a brand new Youth Group starting in September, and new small groups and Bible Studies starting in October for people of all ages.

The Youth Ministry is designed for middle and high school students to help them develop a faith for today as well as faith that will prepare them to be an adult.

The Young Adult Ministry focuses on helping young adults mature and develop spiritually as they grow in other areas of their life

“We are excited to have Brooks and his wife Amanda join us. They are a gifted couple with a genuine love for the Lord and a desire to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ,“ said Pastor Charlie.

On Saturday, October 4, Christ Community Church is planning a community wide yard sale at Kids ‘R’ Kids from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The proceeds from items sold by the church will go to benefit The Good Samaritan Mission in Wiaumama.
