WTFlogoThe creators of the restaurant chain People Dedicated to Quality (PDQ), which just opened in the Brandon and Riverview areas, have come up with a new concept; Wow! That’s Fresh (WTF). Nick Reader and Bob Basham, along with WTF President Bill Kadow, came up with this restaurant after the success of PDQ, and on Monday, October 27 it will debut its very first location at 1426 W. Brandon Blvd., previously the home to Rita’s and Cody’s Steakhouse among other restaurants.

WTF’s concept is similar to PDQ’s in that it will be a fast/casual restaurant where diners can eat in, take out or go through the drive-thru. WTF will be serving food that is made fresh everyday and is available for catering.

The difference between the two restaurants will be the food. PDQ is known for their chicken strips and sandwiches, and fresh cut fries. While WTF will also have fresh cut fries, it will be serving burgers, pizzas, hot dogs and salads. It offers four different burger choices, and the salads range from the Burger Blue Salad with chopped fresh USDA Choice burger over mixed greens, to the Fiesta Taco Salad and the White Albacore Tuna salad.

“Wow! That’s Fresh will offer fresh quality food at a great price,” said Public Relations Director Jeff Kamis. “We will offer some excellent options for our guests and are excited to debut in the Brandon community.”

The menu lists different sides to choose from besides the fresh cut fries, including cole slaw and fresh cut apple slices with a toffee dip. The children’s menu includes a PB&J pizza, and the restart also offers handspun shakes and malts, fresh baked cookies and homemade ice cream sandwiches for diners with a sweet tooth.

WTF is still accepting applications for employment, and interested individuals can apply at www.wowthatsfresh.com.  For more information and updates on the WTF opening, visit its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/woweatfresh and on Twitter at Twitter.com/woweatfresh or call 864-8008.
