Center Place in Brandon will be offering an array of holiday events for the whole family this year. First up is the Eighth Annual Santa’s Holiday Workshop on Saturday, November 22 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. For just $10 children get to visit Santa’s Workshop. “This is a great time for kids to enjoy a make and take it holiday creation,” said Lisa Rodriguez, marketing director for Center Place.

Children will receive lunch from Chick-fil-A at Lake Brandon Village. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Next, on Wednesday, December 3, bring the entire family to the 30th Annual Community Lighting of the Christmas tree. This is a free community event.

“This event has become a tradition for us in Brandon. It opens the Christmas season for our community and is a wonderful opportunity to experience local student’s song and dance talents. Special guest star is Santa from the North Pole. Parents may take photos of Santa and their children that evening,” said Rodriguez.

On Sunday, December 7, Center Place will host its Fourth Annual Holiday Tea from 2-5 p.m. for adults only.

“With this high tea comes plenty of yummy holiday foods and specialty Tevana Teas for your enjoyment. We will have a silent auction to fill your shopping needs, and entertainment with a holiday theme by Performer Craig Hartfield. Put on your most unique or whimsical hat and join us for this fun event,” said Rodriguez.

Tickets are $35 per person, or guests can be a table hostess for eight guests for $250.

On Thursday, December 11 holiday shopping will be available at Pat’s Corner Holiday Open House from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Take advantage of a storewide 25 percent off discount and know that all purchases are supporting children’s programming at Center Place.

Finally, on Friday, December 12 children and adults alike will revel in a fun and joyous ride around the world with Santa’s Holiday Revue presented by Stages Productions. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 for non-members and $6 for members.
