Kids First Pediatric Care may have moved to a new location but its staff continues to offer quality comprehensive care to infants, children and adolescents.

“Our staff shares the goal of making your child’s visit a comfortable one,” said pediatrician Dr. Toni Richards-Rowley.

Located at 16301 FishHawk Blvd., Ste. 101, the new office opened in April and features six exam rooms and a spacious waiting area. Prior to moving to the FishHawk location, Kids First Pediatric Care was a fixture in River Hills Plaza since 2004.

“We needed the extra space because the practice has been growing,” said Richards-Rowley, a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed her medical training at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania and has been in private practice for more than 10 years.

The staff includes Dr. Toni Richards-Rowley, certified pediatric nurse practitioner and board-certified lactation consultant Jamie Kidd, medical assistants Milton Rosado and Shawna Chance, office manager Jackie Foss, receptionists Tiffany Lane and Jennifer Martinez and insurance supervisor Peter Rowley.

Lane is not just an employee; The Lithia mother has been bringing her son to Rowley for almost two years.

“My son feels so comfortable here,” she said. “Dr. Richards-Rowley is so thorough, appointment scheduling is a breeze and when he is sick we can get in very quickly.”

That same level of service and quality of care is extended to all patients.

“We try not to let our patients feel like a number, “ said Richards-Rowley. “We know most of our patients by name.”

From routine checkups to immunizations, Kids First Pediatric Care is equipped to handle the needs of children, including well-child exams, newborn care, prenatal visits, school and sports physicals, vision and hearing services, immunizations, sick child diagnosis and treatment, dietary/nutrition guidance and lab testing.

Kids First Pediatric Care office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. The office is closed daily for lunch from 12 Noon-1 p.m.

The practice is currently accepting new patients and accepts most major private medical insurance and Medicaid.
