LifeCare Network’s mission is to lead those they serve to the unconditional love of Christ as it protects the sanctity of human life, promote biblical sexuality, and proclaim God’s plan for marriage and the family. LifeCare Network is a 501(C) (3) non-profit outreach ministry serving the greater Brandon community since 1987 and SouthShore since 2012. Through compassionate care, education, counseling, practical assistance, and community networking, it provides support to teens, women, couples and families who are facing the challenge of an unplanned pregnancy as well as offer hope and healing to those suffering from the heartbreak of a past abortion.

LifeCare invites the community to join in for its community Annual Walk/Run for Their Life on Saturday, May 2. This year will be the first 5K race in addition to the walk. The location will be at Westfield Brandon (event starts in the field near the Sears parking lot) at 500 S. Gornto Lake Rd. in Brandon. The 5K starts at 7:30 a.m. with a rally at 8:30 a.m. and the walk at 9 a.m.

LifeCare’s Development Director Jessica Rickenbach said, “This is a fun event with activities for the whole family including bounce houses, face painting, balloons and live band. The walk is an easy one mile route; from strollers to wheelchairs, people of all ages can participate. The 5K is a beautiful paved route lined in palm trees down the Brandon Parkway.”

All support will help LifeCare & Choices Women’s Centers continue assisting many teens, women and couples who are facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancies in our community. Through compassionate care, counseling, options education, limited ultrasounds and practical assistance, LifeCare currently serves between 500-600 client visits monthly at three locations and plans to impact more lives in 2015 due to recent ministry expansion in Brandon and SouthShore.

Visit www.LifeCareNetwork.net  for more information or to register for the walk or the 5K.  Raise $100 and receive a free T- shirt, and for each $100 raised participants will be entered into a drawing for some great raffle prizes.
