As of Wednesday, July 1, a new boutique is open to the public. T Marie Benchley, author of the book Once Wicked Always Dead, chose Valrico as the place to open the boutique of her dreams.

The Benchley’s, a family of authors, models and actors, have always aspired to greatness. Peter Benchley wrote Jaws in 1974, the famed Robert Benchley acted and wrote as well and T Marie’s own daughter Scarlett became a high fashion model and actress by age 23, starring in the Jimmy Fallon show and several movies, commercials and magazines. T Marie carries on the Benchley name through her writing career and exquisite new boutique.

As a world-wide online retailer for over a year, Benchley knew it was time to open a store. Now, along with General Manager Lindsey Ress and five fashion sales stylists, T Marie’s Fashion Boutique will come alive.

“After searching high and low for the proper location, we discovered a diamond in the rough perfect for spectacular fashion shows, charity events and trunk shows in addition to the showcase of our fashions,” Benchley said. “Every woman deserves to feel beautiful at an affordable price. We will be carrying casual, resort and evening wear as well as exquisite formals including mother of the bride dresses.”

Tuxedo rentals will also be available at T Marie’s Boutique, and items from designers such as Julian Chang, Katharine Barclay, Cabana Life, Frank Lyman and Escapada. Exclusive items from Benchley’s own designer line will also be offered. A summer selection of bathing suits, cover ups, rash guards, beach totes and jewelry from Milan, Italy are other hot items being sold. Various books, signs and other gifts will be for sale as well.

“We are bringing a piece of Rodeo Drive to Valrico, Florida,” she said.

Marble floors, crystal chandeliers and dressing rooms will transform customers into old Hollywood.

“Customers will find affordable fashions and gifts for all budgets. To put it simply, there is nothing in the area like it,” Benchley said. T Marie’s Fashion Boutique is located at 3407 W. Lithia Pinecrest. To find out more, visit www.onlineboutiques.us or T Marie Benchley’s author website www.tmariebenchley.com.
