Work without proper framing or wiring or any deviation from the rules will not be accepted into the show.

Email entries are preferred and should be sent to Chair, Sue Downes Allen at sueallenart@verizon.net. Artists will be notified by Tuesday, August 25 whether their work is accepted.

The chosen artwork will be on display in the Mook Gallery at Center Place of Brandon during the month of September. A reception and awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 10 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Allen said, “Members of Brandon League of Fine Arts and Center Place Fine Art and Civic Association present Artworks annually as a gift to our community. One of the goals of both organizations is to bring the best in visual arts to the Brandon area. We always hope Artworks, in it’s 15th year, will do this and also give our local artists a venue to show their work.”

Artworks 2015 will be juried and judged by Bruce Marsh, an accomplished artist and Professor Emeritus with the University of South Florida. This is a juried competition which means that the digital images which are sent to via email will be sorted by the judge, Bruce Marsh, to select the work which is accepted to the show. Marsh will judge these works of art for awards after the show is hung.
