Members of the SouthShore Chamber of Commerce took part in a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony at Optical Outfitters. Locally owned, independent optometrist Dr. Catherine Yaeckel offers comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, evaluations for glasses and contact lenses, and pre- and post-operative care for cataracts and Lasik. Bridges Assisted Living Residents Keep Active with Putt Putt
Residents of the Bridges Assisted Living Facility were treated to a game of miniature golf in June. This was an opportunity for residents to be active, social and a little competitive. In addition to the golf game, the assisted living residents stay active with a variety of activities such as chair dancing, karaoke, art classes, corn hole, Wii bowling, mind games, “happy hours,” Bible study, and group outings to restaurants and shopping. AAA Sponsors Safety Bash
AAA will host a family-friendly community event entitled “Summer Safety Bash” inside and outside of its Brandon location.
