Memorize Bible Verses? There’s An App For That

Fighter Verses is a five-year Bible memory program designed to encourage believers to grow in their faith by memorizing God’s Word. Individuals, families, and churches are all encouraged to participate. Fighter Verses is dedicated to help build the conviction to memorize His Word so that it becomes a life-long practice. This app not only provides years of Scripture verses to memorize, there are also fun quizzes to help you memorize them.

One section of the app records your voice as you recite the verse and then lets you check to see if you got the verse correct. Designed for children through adults, this system allows individuals, groups, or entire churches to memorize and review at their own pace. The Fighter Verse app costs $2.99 and can be downloaded on any apple product or android.

When Angels Cry Makes Take 6 Fans Smile

The multi-platinum selling artists and multi-award-winning musical group Take 6 is proud to introduce its latest recording, When Angels Cry. It is their first single from their upcoming album, Believe. Known best in the world of Christian and gospel music, they are back with this very special ballad, just in time for the holidays. Recognized as the greatest a capella group worldwide, an a capella version of the single has also been released, arguably the first time both a musical and purely harmonic version have been released simultaneously.

Take 6 had the honor of being the first American vocal group to perform in Cuba since diplomatic relations were restored. One of the Public Diplomacy officers wrote after the concert, “The group elicited a response (that) in some form helped to advance U.S. diplomacy and interests in ways that our formal process could not.”

EchoLight set to Film Experiencing God: Angola

EchoLight Studios is beginning production efforts on its next film, Experiencing God: Angola. Based on a true story, it tells of the miraculous transformation that took place in Angola Prison, once known as one of the most violent prisons in the United States. The film will follow the story of Warden Burl Cain who initiated the change in the lives of his prisoners through the well-known Bible study, Experiencing God by Henry and Richard Blackaby, and the installation of a Bible College.

Angola houses murderers, armed robbers, the “worst of the worst,” and these are the same convicts whose lives were radically changed through God’s grace. These reformed men, most of whom will never step foot outside prison walls again, become missionaries, spreading God’s love and grace to Louisiana prisons. As a result of this miracle, prison violence is down 73 percent, hundreds of men have finished the program and countless others are Experiencing God through their changed lives.

EchoLight Studios is working on the project and will start filming in the spring of 2016. More information about the film is available at www.experiencinggod.com.
