Tampa Wax Slingers is hosting its second Car Show and Vendor Fair at Lupton’s Boggy Bottom Event Ranch, located at 8407 Lupton Place (just off of Keysville Rd.) in Plant City on Saturday, January 30 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Black Dagger Military Hunt Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides shooting, hunting, fishing and other outdoor opportunities for veterans and active duty military personnel.

Entry for the car show is $25 (pre-registration) and $35 on the day of the event. Registration includes a BBQ buffet band for the participants and a chance to win awards. Spectators are welcome to come and enjoy the event. There is a $1 per car parking fee (this includes a tram ride into the venue) and guests can enjoy a BBQ buffet for $15 for adults and $8 for children. The buffet is served from 12 Noon-2 p.m.

Black Dagger Military Hunt Club serves veterans recovering from and learning to adjust to life with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, loss of sight and post-traumatic stress. They have specialized equipment to accommodate some of the most injured. Black Dagger Military Hunt Club works with the James A. Haley VA Hospital’s Adaptive Sports Program, USSOCOM Care Coalition and active duty members from MacDill Air Force Base.

Tampa Wax Slingers is owned and operated by Jessica and Jeremy Cianfrocca. According to Jennifer, “We have been in business in Riverview for six years and are proud to be a mom and pop business which strives to make vehicles ‘car show clean.’ We also love putting on local car shows for the community to bring people together for the love of the hobby.”

This event is a great opportunity to enjoy a day on Lupton’s beautiful Boggy Bottom Event Ranch. There is a large old fashioned playground for the children, nature trails, fire pit, picnic tables, DJ music and more.
