This spring, the Futch Family will transform their famous Fox Squirrel Corn Maze in Plant City into a spring event featuring beautifully hand grown sunflowers and colorful zinnias. The Futch Family will present Sunflowers On the Ranch on Saturday, April 30 and May 7 and Sunday, May 1 and May 8 at the family owned, Single R Ranch. Gates open at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. each day. Single R Ranch is located at 3002 Charlie Taylor Rd. in Plant City.

The Single R Ranch is a working cattle ranch that has been in the Futch Family for decades. Janet Futch said, “Make plans to visit this unique event where you will find yourself surrounded by acres of dazzling sunflowers and brightly colored zinnias. It is truly an awesome sight.”

After you meander through the sunflowers, enjoy a nature walk under the shaded live oaks. Take time to shop in the Ranch Store where you will find an eclectic array of antiques and other collectibles. There will be lots of games for the whole family to enjoy. Arts and crafts and vendors of all sorts will help to complete your day in the country.

The Futch Family is also planning a U-Pick Flowers. You will need to bring your own buckets. There will also be photography sessions. Both the U-Pick Flowers and the photography sessions will be on weekdays by appointment only. Contact futchentertainment@comcast.net to make an appointment.

Tickets to Sunflowers On the Ranch are $8 for adults 18 and older; children are $7; and 2 and under are free of charge. Ticket prices do not include the 7 percent sales tax. There is a $1 parking fee.
