Sarah Lee Dunsmore, age 13, competed at the Worlds Official Our Little Miss Scholarship System and won the title of 2016 Worlds Official OLM Preteen. Her talent was tap dance, choreographed by Sinead Comiskey at Judy’s Dance Academy in Valrico, where Sarah has been a student for the last five years.

Our Little Miss is a year-round scholarship pageant system focusing on natural beauty. The system builds character, self-esteem, leadership and community by providing an outlet that gives recognition to beautiful and talented girls, and women of all ages throughout Florida.

Our Little Miss has two separate pageant seasons, one Beauty and one Official. When competing in the Official season (January – July), talent is included in the scoring for ages 7 and up. Beauty season (July – January) does not require talent and is scored based on natural beauty and personality. All ages are welcome to compete and no previous pageant experience is necessary.

Being selected as a queen on any level is an honor that is cherished by all who have captured the titles in the past. A winner must wear her crown with honor and dignity. She must at all times represent OLM and her title with love, kindheartedness, and modesty.

Come share this family fun and its traditions. A pageant preliminary will be held on in the area on Sunday, April 3 at the YMCA Camp Christina, located at 9840 Balm Riverview Rd. in Riverview. Registration will begin at 1 p.m. and the prelim will begin at 1:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. For more information or to register, please contact Prelim Director Lisa Dunsmore at lisa.floridasolm@gmail.com, visit www.floridasolm.com, or visit the Facebook Event page at Florida’s Our Little Miss Tampa.
