Brandon’s four-legged friends, and their owners who love to spoil them, will find the newly-opened Puppy Palace of Brandon the go-to establishment for puppy pampering and TLC.

Its owner, Jennifer Conda Berry, created Puppy Palace of South Tampa 13 years ago, providing the very best pet care experience to its guests and therefore piece of mind to their owners.

“We are very excited to bring our pet care concept to Brandon,” said Berry. “There is nothing else out here like this.”

Located at 802 E. Lumsden Rd. just west of Lithia-Pinecrest Rd., the 12,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled pet resort (50 percent larger than the South Tampa location) includes doggy daycare, spacious overnight dog and cat boarding and suites, an indoor dog park and small and large dog outdoor play areas. Dog and cat grooming services are also available.

Groomer Fernando Nobre is a professional stylist that offers the latest haircuts and spa treatments. Nobre can custom tailor a look for virtually any breed of dog.

“Bathing and clipping are an essential part of the health and well-being of our guests,” he said. “We make your pet look their best.”

The daycare services have been a hit with Riverview resident Mary Leffue, whose rambunctious greyhound Zeppy needed playtime and socializing with other dogs.

“She’s a very active dog and needs a lot of space to run around,” said Leffue. “After spending the day at Puppy Palace she was tired out and docile the rest of the night.”

She said Zeppy loved playing in the 20’ x 40’ in-ground saltwater pool and being tossed tennis balls by competent staff, who are certified in Canine CPR and trained to identify body language and behavior to avoid incidents between dogs.

Overnight boarding services include spacious suites decked out with more amenities than some hotel rooms, individual handling and playtime. All suites also have web cams, so owners can see their pets whenever the mood strikes.

“We’re here for you and your pet whether it’s for a day of play or overnight boarding,” said Berry.

Puppy Palace of Brandon is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. For flexibility and convenience, the pet resort is open seven days a week for pick-up. Visit www.tampapuppypalace.com or call 530-0920.
