Serving fresh food, fast, is a winning recipe for WOW Fresh and Fast, a Brandon restaurant offering high quality meals from salads and sandwiches to pizzas and burgers, which celebrated its second anniversary last month.

“We can make our food fast and it is good because it is always fresh,” said Director of Operations Bill Kadow. “All of our meals are made to order or just made. We don’t have microwaves or serve anything lukewarm.”

Some of Kadow’s favorite items on the menu are the garlic parmesan chicken wings, which he describes as “life changing,” the Southwest Chicken Sandwich, and the menu-staple cheese burger. He also raves about the home-made ice cream sandwich which uses a fresh baked rocky road cookie and vanilla ice cream.

“Our menu has something for everyone’s palate,” said Kadow. “We have some people who come in every week and order the same dish because they love it so much, but others who come in all the time and order something different because they love all of our food and want to make sure they aren’t missing any of it.”

Many of the menu items have been added over the two years the restaurant has been open and some choices are seasonal and only available for a short time.

“We started out slow with our menu so that we could really get a feel for what the customers here would want. Over the two years we have added so much to it, and it has been great fun figuring out the flavor combinations people enjoy the most,” said Kadow, who has worked in the restaurant business since he was 16 years old and also operates the Carrollwood WOW Fresh and Fast location which celebrates its one year anniversary this month.

A family business, with Kadow’s father, Bill Kadow Sr., as president, WOW Fresh and Fast is working hard to become an important part of the community by setting up spirit nights and cooking at events with local schools and donating to charities such as the Joshua House and the Gramatica Family Foundation.

“We have been in the restaurant business long enough to know that community is where your business comes from,” said Kadow. “Brandon is such a great place for us to share our food.”
WOW Fresh and Fast is located at 1426 W. Brandon Blvd. and can be reached at 864-8008. Visit www.wowthatsfresh.com to see the menu and for more information.
