One World, One Child Holiday Event

You are invited for fabulous food from Smokin’ Joes and drink to benefit One World One Child. The event will take place on Saturday, December 3 from 7 p.m. at The Bumberg’s, 16013 Ternglade Dr. in Lithia. There will be many great Silent Auction items and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from this event will assist with college expenses for a graduating 2017 Newsome student who excels academically and has financial need.

Concert Band Presents Christmas Concert In Brandon 

The community is invited to a Christmas Concert presented by the Eastern Hillsborough Community Band (EHCB) on Thursday, December 15 at 7 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church, Logan Hall, 115 Knights Ave. in Brandon. 

The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. the night of the concert. Reservations are not required. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door.

Annual Holiday Pot Luck Lunch At Brandon Community Center

The Brandon Community Center is hosting its Annual Holiday Pot Luck Lunch on Friday, December 9, which will feature local entertainment from church choruses, elementary schools, local musicians, and community residents. Plant City Community Chorale Presents Holiday Concert

The Plant City Community Chorale will present its annual Believe! A Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m.at Eastside Baptist Church, which is located at 1318 E. Calhoun St. in Plant City. This annual Christmas presentation is once again sponsored by Hopewell Funeral & Memorial Gardens.

In addition to time-honored classics such as O Holy Night, Have Yourself a Merry Christmas, and White Christmas, the concert will include the beloved Spanish carol, A La Nanita Nana and the sprightly Catalan dance carol, Fum, Fum, Fum.  

Under the direction of Claudia Bolano Becerra, the Chorale continues to grow both musically and in numbers, promising to make your spirit bright this Christmas.

Boots & Bling Benefit Concert Will Benefit Rugged Cross Youth Ranch

A Boots & Bling Benefit Concert will take place on Saturday, December 17 from 4-10 p.m. at Rugged Cross Youth Ranch, located at 421 Corbett Rd. in Lithia. Listen to great Christian, Country, and Southern Rock music from Eli Mosley, Skyler Clark, Harley Gay and more will be added to the line-up. Food trucks will be on site. Great raffle items.

Bring your lawn chairs and an unwrapped gift for A Christmas to Remember for the local orphanages/foster care facilities.

Funds will be raised for Rugged Cross Youth Ranch, a 501c3 non for profit, a local charity that touches hundreds of foster kids, orphans, military families, and hurting kids within the community.​​

Hamburger Mary’s Bingo Helps Fund Team Kelley Cure For Arthritis

Team Kelley, a local participating team in the upcoming Jingle Bell Run in Tampa, will host a fundraiser at Hamburger Mary’s in Ybor on Monday December 12 at 6:30 p.m. Minimum cash donation of $10 for 10 bingo cards. There will be prizes for all 10 winners and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation and the Jingle Bell Run-Tampa.

Online Holiday Shopping Boutique Benefits Children’s Holiday Party

GFWC Brandon Jr. Woman’s Club (BJWC) is hosting Hope for the Holidays Shopping Boutique online fundraiser runs through Monday, December 12.  Vendors will donate a percentage of their sales to BJWC. This fundraiser supports the Club’s Annual Children’s Holiday Party for 80+ children in the Brandon area, where they are provided with clothing, shoes, socks, toys, educational supplies plus a party with Santa Claus. Many of these children would go without any holiday otherwise.
