The Firehouse Cultural Center in Ruskin is holding its Gala 2017 with a theme of Spurs & Bling on Saturday, March 4. This year’s gala is hosted by one of south Hillsborough County’s leading families, Ora and Frank Diehl, and the gala will be held at the Diehl Family Farm and Ranch Estate. The Firehouse Cultural Center’s Gala 2017 is honored to have Danita and Glenn Dickman as this year’s Honorary Chairs.

This event calls for your best western cocktail attire. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served from 6 to 8 p.m. and dinner will be served at 8 p.m. The Diehl Family Farm and Ranch Estate is a working horse ranch and stable. Guests will experience a truly unique evening beginning with a cattle cutting demonstration and square dancing on horseback during the cocktail hour.

Space for the event is limited, so RSVP as soon as possible. Tickets to the event are $175 for individuals, $275 for couples and $950 for a reserved table for eight. All proceeds from the gala benefit the Firehouse Cultural Center and their efforts to provide scholarships for families and children. This would include scholarships for summer camps, classes and workshops and other events held at the center.

In addition to great food, there will be live entertainment and both a silent and live auction. There will be two to three trips, weekend beach resorts and concert tickets at Amalie Arena available for bid.
