Brooke Hamilton of Hamilton Creek Photography is a different kind of photographer. Hamilton explained, “My photography is connection based. I am a hybrid of sorts, taking beautiful and honest portraits while also focusing on more candid, storytelling images that celebrate your family’s connections and love.”

Hamilton added, “Family photography is my love. However, anyone wanting to document their connections and not just smile at the camera on command is for me. It can be anything- a couple, a newborn session with the family as the focus or capturing chokehold with a child or a sibling session.

Hamilton is a resident of Riverview. She has been a professional photographer for six years. Hamilton gets her inspiration from her family and travel. “I document my twin sons daily. But, when we go on vacations, I am in a new location and new sources inspire me to push outside the comfort of photographing in the same locations, light and backgrounds.”

Hamilton is the consummate professional. She works with clients before their sessions and provides them with a welcome guide and a dress for success guide. In addition, she sends an electronic questionnaire. All of this allows Hamilton to get to know the client and the client to know her before the session even begins. Hamilton’s photography is not just a series of photos, she offers clients unique art pieces and helps generate ideas for displaying their photographic art in their home. “I do not just show up for our sessions, take photos and then hand over a USB of images. I prepare my clients, give them tips for making the session fun, and to calm their nerves if they are worried their kids will ‘act up’ during the session. I also help them plan the outfits to look their best in their home and the unique locations we pick. Ultimately, the result is having great art pieces featuring their family,” explained Hamilton.

Hamilton is a member of a Click Pro, a modern network of highly skilled professional photographers and independent artists who are approved based on merit and portfolios. Hamilton’s work has been published in Beyond the Wanderlust and Lemonade & Lenses. She was also selected to give back through photography with the Beauty Revived Most Beautiful Mothers campaign.
