Budget Blinds, an international window covering franchise with nearly 1,100 territories across North America, recently announced James and Elaine Trotter as Franchisee of the Year, a top recognition and award bestowed upon a local franchise owner with the best overall sales volume in a single calendar year.

The Trotters, franchise owners of three territories in the Brandon, North Tampa and Land O Lakes area, have owned their Budget Blinds’ businesses since purchasing Budget Blinds in Tampa in October, 2008. This past year, in 2016, they achieved the highest sales volume in the company’s history and improved by a double-digit percentage over 2015.

“It is a great honor to receive this prestigious award as Franchisee of the Year,” said Elaine Trotter. “Both Jim and I, as well as our entire staff, appreciate the opportunities of business ownership in the Budget Blinds network. Not only do we have strong ties with our fellow franchisees and staff at the corporate office, we have wonderful customers and friends in the community.”

Active members of their local church group and local business associations, the Trotters are also involved in Habitat for Humanity, the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Metropolitan Ministries and the national Veteran cause, Homes for Our Troops. “We feel blessed to give back to our community and help others in need,” said Jim Trotter.

Services include expert measuring, professional installation and products backed by the best warranties in the industry. Budget Blinds also offers commercial window covering solutions.
