ALDI hopes to bring high paying jobs, affordable prices and quality nutrition to the Brandon community.

Known for offering wages and benefits significantly higher than the industry standard, ALDI has started hiring manager trainees and cashiers for its stores in Largo, Pinellas, Clearwater and Brandon, Lakeland, Tampa, Plant City and St. Petersburg. Stores will open between September and November 2008. The Brandon location will be at 610 E. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon within the 25,000 sq. ft. former Albertson’s space.

ALDI provides its staff with generous salaries, full medical and dental insurance and a 401k for anyone who works more than 20 hours a week. ALDI plans to start its manager trainees at $20 per hour and cashiers at $10 per hour. The select assortment discount grocer is bringing approximately 400 jobs to central Florida , with 25 stores scheduled to open between September and November of this year.
